This is my daily toner routine and how I apply it to my face. tips on applying toner from my beautician.

Don't ask why but what comes into my mind of the country Australia- is koala bears. lol.

I'll be going to Melbourne on the 30th of March till the 3rd of April with my family!!! WHOPPIE!!!

Since  I'll not be bringing my laptop, and I'll be leaving 80% of my makeup products at home,

makeup tutorials will be put on hold for a week or so.   =(
but but but! I will try uploading videos of skincare and hair tutorials instead. lol. faster that way. 

And if you have an enquiry on the makeup products that I sell please note that I'm going to be replying you whenever I find a wifi connection. apologies for that. 

BUT!! while I'm there, I might face some makeup ER and use like minimal makeup products to create a look!

muahahaha. I always feel that I don't bring enough makeup on a trip. But there's no definition of "enough makeup" for a us makeup lovers. XD

Make your own tinted sunscreen+ tinted moisturizer!

(This is something that most people already know; but some still don't know yet, so let's share it out and save our purses from bleeding cash whey.*winks*)

(其实这个勒,已经很多人知道怎么做了的; 不过还是会有些人不知道, 所以大家一起分享出去,一起省钱吧~ ^^)

LEFT: D.I.Y tinted sunscreen

WHAT YOU'LL NEED FOR TINTED SUNSCREEN
有色防晒霜需要啥.

**************************************************

From left : An empty container, a plastic spatula (or anything you have that you can mix things with)
, a glass bowl (optional. you can even use a plastic card),

your choice of sunblock (I'm using sunblock by Methode Swiss SPF 30)  your choice of foundation (I'm using Aery Jo Fitting sun foundation SPF28)

左边开始: 一个小空瓶, 一个小舀子,一个玻璃碗(不一定需要.你也可以用一个塑胶卡),
你自己的防晒膏(我用的是menthode swiss, 防晒指数30), 你自己的粉底液
 (我用的是AERY JO FITTING SUN FOUNDATION,防晒指数28)

I'm not really a fan the foundation, (well if you have read my blog a few times you might notice that I've mentioned before that I rarely use full on foundation on my skin) 

because I get this effect when I apply it on my skin. (picture above)
I'm not sure why but it's like the goddess of foundation HATES me. I've tried tons of ways to apply foundation from using fingers to brushes, moisturizers/sprays/makeup bases/ essence/ below foundation or even above foundation. It still looks like that. no matter what brand = ="

It looks wrinkly and chalky on my skin and it enlarges the whiteheads (eww yes i have whiteheads on my fist )

Plus, it's a bit more darker than my normal skin tone *that's the lightest shade already -_-*, so it makes the skin on my face look dull. 

Why I haven't got rid of it yet? Because it costs me a whopping RM180 (If I don't remember wrongly)

And I've only used it like.. 5 times MAX. 

So, for the foundation on this tutorial, you don't need to rush out and BUY another foundation.

instead, you can use a foundation that you've bought before but maybe it's a shade darker than your skin tone,

or maybe the consistency of your foundation is a bit too thick to your liking. 

At least give this a try before letting it sit and expire in your makeup box aye  =)

It's super easy and fun to do btw!

(如果你之前就有读过我部落的话,你或许有点印象, 我有提起过我很少在我皮肤上涂粉底液)
因为如果我在我脸上涂粉底液的话就会有酱的效果. (上面的图片).
可能我上辈子惹到了粉底液的精灵, 我用过很多种方法涂粉底液.
从用手指到用各种刷子, 到在上粉底液前或后涂隔离霜/防晒/润肤液/喷雾/精华, 还是会看起来那样  = =" 不管用什么牌子的,都一样. = =
我的皮肤就会看起来很邹,一塌一塌酱的感觉. 然后粉刺都会出来(嘿我的拳头上有粉刺.xD)
而且这个粉底液,虽然我已经买了最浅的颜色, 它还是比我自己的肤色暗一些.
上了后整个脸会看起来很暗.
为什么我还没有丢掉呢? 因为这瓶东西没有记错的话好像是RM180.
而且我只用过5次. (最多. = =)

所以这个教学的粉底液, 你不用特地去买多一个啦.
你可以用你自己本身有的, 或者你买过,但是颜色暗一点的,
或者你觉得质感有点太厚的粉底液, 你都能搬出来用.
至少试过了嘛. 要不然也是放在化妆包里发霉,对吗? =)
而且超容易做的啦. 又好玩!

K so First up, pump out a pump of foundation and a squeeze of sunblock into your glass bowl.
You can use a plastic card too or ANYTHING you can think of to mix these two together as long as it's sanitary for you!


首先,你就按出一点粉底液, 再挤出一点防晒膏进你的玻璃碗里面.
你也可以用你也可以用一个塑胶卡,什么都行啦,只要是可以把这两样产品混在一起,
对你来说又干净的东西,就行了!

Use your plastic spatula and mix the foundation and sunblock together! *mix mix mix...*


用你的小舀子把粉底液跟防晒膏混在一起!

And this is the end result! :D
The shade of the color is a tad bit lighter because of the white colored sunblock I've used to mix the foundation with.  the consistency still remains thick! :D
But I think I've used a bit too much of both of the products, as I only need 50% of what you see in the picture for my whole face.


然后就会变成酱了! :D
颜色会看起来白一点点因为我拿来混粉底液的的防晒膏是白色的的关系.
质感还是厚的! :D
不过我觉得我好像做到太多出来了. 因为我整个脸只需要用到你看到小舀子上的产品的50% = =

The amount on my finger is the amount of what I've used to apply on my left cheek.
我在手指上沾的分量是我用来涂在我左边脸的.

How it looks like on the back of my hand. It looks just like my skin instead of something over it!


If you'd like to use the ratio of products that I've used, it's 50% foundation and 50% sun screen. to my skin it looks like a tint of color+ minimal coverage


If you'd like more coverage, use 70% foundation and 30% sunscreen.


**If you would like just a tint of color on your face with a moisturizing purpose,
don't do this, scroll down instead! :D  **


Of course the coverage won't be as good as a foundation because we've mixed it together with a sunblock.


Btw, this is a fact, when you mix ANYTHING with sunblock/sunscreen,
you're likely changing the protective factor of the sunscreen, so it might be lowering the SPF.
But I don't really care that much because my sunblock is a SPF 30, and the foundation has a SPF 28, 
plus I'm not gonna play in the sun for hours, just for a protection against UV rays and stuffs, but still got some coverage and color on my face whenever I'm out for shopping/ having tea with my friends


You can choose whether you would want to make a bit more of the tinted sunscreen and fill it in an empty container. But I don't recommend you to make like a month's supply of it. Instead, make only a supply of 5 days - a week. Because you want to keep your product "fresh" what! 

在我手背上的效果. 比起有一层东西盖过脸的感觉, 看起来还满像我自己的皮肤的.

我用了50%的粉底液, 50%的防晒膏, 在我的皮肤上就像就有一点颜色+轻微遮暇的效果.

当然,如果你想要有更多的遮暇效果的话,就用70%的粉底液, 还有30%的防晒.

*如果你只是想要在脸上有一点的颜色,但是又具备滋润效果的, 请往下拉~*

不过当然, 粉底的遮遐效果就没那么好了,因为你已经把它跟防晒参在一起了~.

对了,只要你把任何一种东西跟防晒膏混合在一起用, 你的防晒膏的防晒指数可能会跌. 

不过我也没管那么多啦, 因为我的防晒已经是SPF30了, 粉底又是SPF28, 

我也不会在大太阳底下爆晒几个小时; 我只要有个能均应我肤色又有一点点遮暇的防晒膏,当我跟朋友出门的时候,或者喝茶的时候,保护我的皮肤,隔离紫外线.

你可以选择要不要做多一点, 然后装在一个小空瓶里. 不过我不推荐你们做一个月的分量啦. 

做大概5天到一个星期的分量就够了, 因为你要你的产品"保持新鲜"~!

TINTED MOISTURIZER TUTORIAL
********************************************


Using a foundation of your choice, and a moisturizer of your choice.
I'm using Akin's unscented 24 hour pure moisture.
Which looks like this.


用你自己的粉底液,还有你自己的润肤液.
我用的是Akin's 牌子的unscented 24 hour pure moisture.
看起来就像酱!

The consistency is a bit more fluid-like.


质感会比较水状!

I've placed both the foundation and the moisturizer into an empty container,
the ratio is also 50% moisturizer, 50% foundation.


然后我把粉底液,还有润肤液倒进一个小空瓶里面,
份量也是50%粉底, 50%润肤液.

Mix em both together with your spatula. *mix mix mix mix mix*
(Looks gross right? I KNOW. heh)


把2种产品混合在一起...........
(看起来是有一点恶心啦. XD)

End result! The consistency is more creamier than the tinted sunblock,
It kind of reminds me of RMK liquid foundation actually! XD
 Now I'm not saying that you'll get the same consistency that I've got when you mix it with your own products,
but here's a tip; the more liquid your moisturizer is, the closer you get to this consistency.
and it just feels super lightweight to the skin!


完成品! 质感会比有色防晒霜"水"!
还有点让我想到rmk的水状粉底液勒! 哈! XD
不过要跟mm们说下, 我不担保你们用自己的产品混在一起后会得到一模一样的质感,
这里给你们一个小贴士;就是, 你的润肤液越水状, 完成品的质感会靠近图片里的质感.
然后就是在皮肤上的感觉很轻透啦!

If you work in an air-conditioned environment, and is getting fed up with foundation because it feels drying to your skin, I recommend that you try this. :)


And again,you can choose whether you would want to make a bit more of the tinted moisturizer and fill it in an empty container. But I don't recommend you to make like a month's supply of it. Instead, make only a supply of 5 days - a week. Because you want to keep your product "fresh" what!

Remember to remove it from your face when you've reached home!!

yes even when you use sunblock on it's own,

you still have to remove it! or your pores will get clogged! 

same for the tinted moisturizer! 

回到家后记得卸掉喔! 不管是有色滋润膏还是有色防晒膏都一样!
就算你单单用防晒膏也一定要卸掉! 记得啊~!!
要不然毛孔会阻塞的~!

But I only remember Benefit and Laura Mercier. XD

MARRIAGE(Story)

***Note there is a Mandarin and English version of this story; I'm not sure which came out first and I do not know who is the author, it's all over the internet.***

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce. I raised the topic calmly.

She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?

I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn't love her anymore. I just pitied her!

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company.

She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Jane so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.

The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Jane.

When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.

In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month's time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.

This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day.

She requested that every day for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.

I told Jane about my wife's divorce conditions. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.

My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mommy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outsidethe door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.

On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Jane about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.

She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.

Suddenly it hit me... she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.

Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry mom out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.

But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't noticed that our life lacked intimacy.

I drove to office.... jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind...I walked upstairs. Jane opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Jane, I do not want the divorce anymore.

She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Jane, I said, I won't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other anymore. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart.

Jane seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away.

At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.

That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed - dead.

My wife had been fighting CANCER for months and I was so busy with Jane to even notice. She knew that she would die soon and she wanted to save me from the whatever negative reaction from our son, in case we push thru with the divorce.-- At least, in the eyes of our son--- I'm a loving husband....

The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse's friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage!

If you don't share this, nothing will happen to you.

If you do, you just might save a marriage.

Read on and I'll tell you what!

告诉你一个小秘密...
我左眼, 跟右眼的眼妆是有点不一样喔!
看下去我就告诉你是啥~!

As always, I start off with a clean eye + enlargement contact lenses.

跟平常一样, 带好放大隐形眼镜+ 干净的眼皮.

Next, I've usedM.A.C cream colored base  in Pearl.
Using my ring finger, I dabbed a bit of the color base; and swiped it all over my eyelid till the brow bone.

**now you don't have to use the same things as I've used, you can use any color base you want as long as it's close to your skin color, or even your eye primer to apply on your eyes. i'm using Pearl because it is the closest shade to my skin color, and it has an icy shimmer to it. Plus, because I've only applied a light amount of it to my skin to make my eyes look more"awakened", and using a primer/ eyeshadow base can let your eyeshadow lasts longer throughout the day. **

然后我用了M.A.C cream colored base, 颜色是PEARL,
用无名指沾一些COLOR BASE,然后涂满整个眼皮至眉骨.

**你不用跟我用一样的东西的~ 只要是接近你皮肤颜色的COLOR BASE,你都可以拿来用.
或者你有眼底霜也可以拿来代替COLOR BASE. 我会用PEARL是因为它最接近我皮肤的颜色. 然后又带一点点的光泽/亮度, 用一点会让我的眼睛看起来更有精神.
然后用一个眼底霜/ eyeshadow base可以让你的眼影更容易持久一整天**

Then, take an eyeshadow color that is almost as the same shade as your skintone, or a shade lighter,
brush it all over the eyelid till the brow bone. Try to use something that has only a bit of shimmer in it.
You can also use a matte eyeshadow if you like.

(I'm using my chanel quad err.. forgot the name of this particular color.)

现在拿一个接近你肤色的眼影, 或者比你肤色浅一号的眼影, 用一把眼影刷扫满整个眼皮至眉骨. 尽量用个不太多亮粉的眼影,有一点点的话没有关系的.  或者你也可以用个无闪粉眼影.

(我用的是CHANEL 4色眼影盘.)

then, taking a black eyeliner pencil, try to DRAW YOUR EYELINER AS CLOSE AND THIN AS POSSIBLE TO THE LASH LINE. Try GENTLY pulling your eyelid sideways abit to get to the empty parts.
I'm using black eyeliner today because in A.B's MV she looks like she's wearing black eyeliner instead of brown.

拿一只黑色的眼线笔,, 尽量把你的眼线可以化到几细还有靠近睫毛的根部就几靠近.
如果化不到的话你就轻轻的把你的眼皮往旁边拉一点点来填满空隙.
我今天用的是黑色的眼线因为在BABY的MV里她的眼线看起来是黑色不是褐色的.

Next, take your black liquid eyeliner and just go over where you've lined the black eyeliner pencil.
remember; AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO THE LASH LINE.
when you get to the outer corner of your eyes, don't "flick or wing" your eyeliner,
instead, follow the shape of your eye and draw your liquid liner out just a bit longer at the ends, approximately 0.5 CM long. (erm I hope you get what I mean by looking at the pics)

拿你的黑色眼线液, 然后化过你刚才用眼线笔化过的地方.
记得,能几靠近睫毛根部就几靠近.
然后你到眼尾的时候, 不要像平常化猫眼妆酱 在眼尾那边"翘"上去,
反而顺着你眼睛的形状, 用眼线液在眼尾部分拉长大概0.5cm 化下垂一点,营造轻微的下垂眼.
(希望你们看图片看得懂我要表达的是什么)

(K this is for me LEFT eye. this is suitable for girls with longer eyelashes/ girls who don't wish to use falsies.)

After I've curled my lashes, I've used  both wands of M.A.C's haute and naughty lash mascara,

You'll need to wiggle your mascara wand in a "Z" shape while you apply it onto your eyelashes. 

tip, if you want your eyelashes to stay sky high curly longer, wiggle your wand from the middle of the eyelash to the tip, then only start to wiggle it from the bottom. 

apply mascara on your lower lashes as well.

**try using 2 or 3 kinds of different lengthening/ volumizing mascara's instead of sticking to one mascara.
it really gives out a different effect!

(这是我化在左眼的眼妆. 这比较适合有长睫毛的女孩/不想带假睫毛的女孩)

夹了自己的睫毛后, 我用了 M.A.C haute and naughty lash睫毛膏的2 只睫毛膏.
再来是怎么刷上睫毛膏. 

你要用你睫毛刷在睫毛上刷个Z字形出来. 

小建议, 如果你要你的睫毛的翘度持久一些, 从你的眼睫毛的中间刷睫毛的顶端几次后,

再从根部开始刷起.

***使用几种睫毛膏混在一起使用, 效果超不同的! 

Then,I've applied on double eyelid tape on my eyelids. As the inner corners of A.B's eyes are quite wide, it's impossible to achieve that look without using any double eyelid tape.

But today, I'm using a L sized double eyelid tape, I've cut off the yellow edges using method "B".

不过今天我用的是L型的双眼皮贴. 我把黄色的边剪掉了, 用"B"的方法.

This is how I did my final eye makeup for my RIGHT eye.
**Suitable for girls with shorter/lesser lashes or girls who wish to use falsies**
(P.S the eyelashes on my right eye is like, 30% shorter than my left eye.)

然后这是我右眼的眼妆.
**适合眼睫毛比较少/短的女生. 或者想用假睫毛的女生**
(我右眼的睫毛比我左眼的睫毛短30% = =)

Take any pair of falsies that's natural looking in your makeup box,
and cut it into 3 portions. Then apply it with eyelash adhesive onto your upper lash line.

拿一对你最自然的假睫毛, 然后把它剪成3段.
然后在梗那边涂上一些假睫毛膏, 然后再粘在上眼线上.

Now, take your eyelash curler and curl the falsies with your real eyelash together.
And apply on mascara on your upper and lower lashes.
Please refer notes above on the mascara application.

然后, 拿你的睫毛夹, 把你的假睫毛跟你的真睫毛一起夹,
然后在你的上跟下睫毛都刷上睫毛膏.

Face Makeup Tutorial

脸部化妆教学.

I'm using Intense tinted sunscreen plus clinique all about eyes concealer on my face today,
if you don't have any tinted sunscreen.. you can
DIY your own tinted sunscreen or tinted moisturizer!!
As A.B's face visually looks like she has nothing on, it's like- poreless+ none cakey+ natural glow!

K maybe it's because her skin is already awesome to begin with.
But if you have a bit of a skin problem, you can try using a colored makeup base to even out your skin tone,
then take a concealer and conceal only the problem areas, and lightly dust a bit of loose powder over your face after that.

我今天在脸上用的是INTENSE防晒膏(有颜色的), 还有CLINIQUE的遮暇膏.
自己动手DIY做有色防晒膏或者有色滋润液!
因为BABY的脸看起来好嫩~好像什么都没有涂在脸上似的~ 光光滑滑的!
可能她皮肤一直以来都很好啦.
不过如果你皮肤有点小问题的话, 你可以用看个有颜色的饰底乳来修饰你的肤色,
然后拿个遮暇膏来遮你皮肤上的痘痘. 再在脸上轻轻扫过一点松粉.

As for my lips I've used a sweet pink lip gloss with a bit of irredescent gold shimmer in it. :)
you don't want the lip color to get too intense as A.B's lip color is quite sheer/ pinkish in her MV!

至于嘴唇方面, 我用了个带点细细的金色+甜甜饿粉红色的唇油.
不要用太鲜艳的颜色在嘴唇上, 因为BABY在她MV里的唇是带点透明粉红酱的颜色~
